I seem to have a corrupted version of Emailer, and want to replace the
application itself, while preserving my mail files, mail actions, etc.

Can I replace the application itself from a backup and have Emailer run
normally? Do I need to replace the preference file, and if so, what
information do I need to preserve to enter into the new pref file?

Any experiences, caveats, information to help with this problem will be
greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm running Emailer 2.03 on a 6400/180 with a Sonnet G3 upgrade
card, 136 MB RAM, OS 8.6, virtual memory at 137 MB.

TIA

David
