I read Magazines. Like Mac Addict, MacWorld, & such. It's a lot easier to 
deal with short to the point articles than any manual. 

And, if you're apprehensive about screwing up your computer, (as I am) 
then be sure to get a data back up going. i use Retrospect software to 
back up the hard drive to DAT tape or cd-r every other day. That way, if 
something goes wrong, you can put it back the way things were at the last 
back up session.
