As suggested below, I have downloaded and installed Baton Mail...thus allowing me to work around Verizon's demands...
After 24 ours I finally made Baton Mail work for me... it seems to be doing a good job... maybe a little slow on the sends, but it works... whopee and thanks Chris for creating and producing Baton Mail... and thank you Miheer for your attention to my problem and suggesting Baton Mail... I can now continue using beloved emailer... I tried Verizon's net mail... what an abomination... But I do have a new question, if I buy OS-X Jaguar) and install it on my machine, how do I continue to use E-mailer...? >>I need help, My DSL provider, Verison is requesting me to make some >>changes...
