For anyone looking for a regular cheap mail server, might I suggest SIMS (Stalker Internet Mail Server, available from www.stalker.com). Its free, and pretty powerful for the low end user. I run a number of domains off one copy of SIMS (it isn't really designed for multiple domains, but it can handle them if you do it right). I also use it for my main company server. SIMS has good anti-spam abilities, and support SMTP, POP, and IP based authentication for sending email. All in all, for a free mail server, I personally don't think there is a better, easier to use product. Although the EIMS (Eudora Internet Mail Server) users would beg to differ.
