I just had a new problem, at least for me. I was composing a post and CE just shut down on me. After launching it again, I found two files in the temp incoming folder, one with a #6485 next to the name. I trashed them and then tried again, but it happened again. I think the new files in the temp incoming folder may have come from an automatic connection that I have set for every 10 minutes.
I tried sending myself some tests, and every time the test would come in it would shut emailer down and leave two files in the temp incoming folder, one with a number next to it, but the number was always a different one. When I relaunched emailer, the test would be in the incoming mail folder, but so would two new temp files, and I would delete them every time. Without knowing what was really happening, it occurred to me that there might be something corrupted on the server that kept trying to come to me. I have emailer set to save mail on the server for a day, so I went into account setup and changed that so that mail was no longer to be saved. It told me that there was mail on the server and asked what I wanted to do with it, and I told it to delete the mail. On the next connection emailer crashed again, but then on subsequent connections in the last few minutes it seems to be OK. Is my analysis close to correct? I seem to be working OK for now, but just wanted to get this inquiry off now in case the problem came back.
