Ehum, when running under Classic, CE *is* running under Jaguar. It's not native, so that is the ony way. What you're hinting at with "Classic" here is CE running *booted* from OS 9. Don't interchange those two first terms, as it will only confuse things.
As for your problem, I'm sure it can be solved with scripting or hacking Emailer perhaps. But as I'm leaving Emailer soon (have been saying that for years) and I'm not a great AS scripter , I'm not willing to do that script. Maybe you should raise the issue at an AS list? Also, I must agree with that I feel modem connections under OS X are surprisingly slow. In Addition, the modem menu is slow as I don't know what. Most likely I have to little RAM though. Do everyone have slower modem connections in OS X? Funny thing is that on a steady connection, almost all net activites are much faster than in OS 9 and on modem when you're finally connected it's at least not slower than OS 9. It could be the configuration of the modempool also or the modem connection script. I seem to recall from older days that a lot of tinkering of connection scripts ofter were in order? ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
