I was refering to a single 512 chip, not 512 of total RAM.. Although I
really shouldn't say you can't do it anyway, as I don't know for a fact
that you can't. I just know that Apple says you can't, and the web site I
was looking at didn't offer a 512 chip for that model. But Apple says
lots of not fully correct info about RAM specs for their machines, and
the web site may very well not offer it because Apple says you can't do
it.

Frankly, I far more worried about the retaliation that Iraq has in store
for us. I live within "you are dead" fallout range of NYC should they
nuke it. And it IS a primary target (something I knew LONG before the
towers were hit).

But PLEASE lets not turn this into a thread on this topic. There is a
runaway OT thread on another list I am on, on this right now. I'm happy
to discuss things with anyone OFF LIST, but lets keep it off list (and
BTW: I'm probably not a great person to talk about it with anyway as I
don't currently have overwhelming opinions in either direction, so I'll
probably be less than thrilling as I am more likely to just listen to
someones opinions and think about them, than to debate them).
