Other than the following CE works fine for me in OS X.

When I restart, or cold start, CE will crash the first time I make a
connection. It does not matter if I do a Send & Collect or just a Send,
it crashes.

After the crash I restart CE and everything is fine until I restart, not
that I do that too often with OS X. It is not caused by a .DS_store file
in the Incoming Temp folder as I have thrown it away and never opened it
since then. BUT now when I checked to see the contents of the Temp
Incoming folder with "BetterFile" (an invisible file viewer), there are
two files in the Temp Incoming folder.

The files were created on 3/27/03 and 4/1/03 but when viewed by Chris'
Temp Viewer the files contain nothing other than useless (-end of header,
-end of message) data. OK, so I have thrown both the files and the Temp
Incoming folder away and restarted CE: no crash, but then I did not
restart the computer, only CE.

Why do these files get created there and then left there? What can be
done to avoid such files being left there without unpacking, especially
because opening the folder creates the .DS_Store file that causes more
problems?

Any ideas?
