Mail is Mail. The application is exactly the same. And in this case, it is also a Universal Binary application (all of Apple's software that is bundled with the iMac is Universal). So if it worked on the PPC, it will work on the Intel (accepting that the fact you got it to import at all is impressive, as I've heard many other people failed... so it could fail on the new machine, but the fault will not be with the Intel setup, it will just be with Mail and Emailer not working together correctly). But remember, the PPC versions are still available, and you can get them from Apple's refurb store with some pretty good discounts, so depending on your needs, wants, future plans, and budget, snagging one of those may also be a good option (the Apple refurb store issues full warrenties on anything sold from there. Basically, they are units that were defective or otherwise returned at one point, have been completely rebuilt to new spec, but Apple, for legal reasons, can't sell it as "new" any more, so they sell it as refurbished with full new warrently and knock a chunk of money off. I think the 20" G5, pre iSight version, was selling for around $1200 when I last looked. That is $500 off retail price. The stock and prices change almost daily, so if you don't like the options today, check tomorrow or next week) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
