I think I recall seeing that problem a long time ago.  I think I solved it
by trashing the Claris Emailer Preferences file.

In OS 9.1, the prefs file is usually located in:

System Folder -> Claris -> Claris Emailer Preferences

You would need to quit Claris Emailer first.  You might remove the prefs
file to the Desktop instead of trashing the prefs, and then restart Claris
Emailer.  Of course, you will need to reset your preferences in Claris
Emailer when you restart Claris Emailer.
