Well, in spite of the sender's assurance that the attachment was sent, I don't think it was; for this reason: there was an innocuous message to the effect: Here's the catalogue you asked for (in the message body.) That wouldn't trigger a spam response by my ISP, I don't believe. And even if it did, the entire message would have been removed, not the attachment alone (which was the case here.)
