Wow... apparently UCLA's knowledge stops at film.
Graphic Converter not only works with OS X, but has had an OS X
version since the early days of OS X. Graphic Converter has even been
made Universal Binary to run full speed native on Intel macs.
I thought the flashdrive was
faulty but as it doesn't load the zip either, its clearly the laptop
that's at fault.
Is your zip drive USB based as well? If so, I'd think your USB
drivers for OS 9 are screwed up.
Can I make a suggestion. Since you seem to indicate that you have OS
X on the machine as well as OS 9, I'd recommend you boot into OS X
only. You can continue to use OS 9 only apps via Classic in OS X. If
you have access to both 9 and X, then you should always boot into OS
X unless you have a specific reason to boot into OS 9. If you are
wondering what reasons might there be to boot into OS 9, then you
don't have a reason to be doing it. :-)
