You mean I simply download CE-P3_Port587.sit from your web site, 
decompress it (it creates a file named Emailer Port 587), locate in in 
the original Claris Emailer Folder (near Claris Emailer, Claris emailer 
Files, Claris Emailer Preferences and SMTP Auth Login), close Claris 
Emailer and start it ?

I just did it, it seems to work. I guess as long as SMTP Auth login works 
for what I do with it, I won't need Emailer Port 587
