Well, DSL-2000 is a DSL line capable of 2000 MBit/second, DSL-6000 is a DSL
line capable of 6000 MBit/second -- I thought that would be obvious --
sorry, my mistake.

The unused wires in each of my 12-wire cables are connected to nothing, they
just lie there open ended on both sides. The insulation is not removed on
the ends, so they can't accidentally touch either.

As it is running now, I don't intend to change something in the near future.
The guy from the German Telekom said somthing about, that the ISDN signal
must not be on wires next to the wires which carry the DSL signal. Now I
have to figure out, which wires in a 12-wire calbe are next to each
other.... But I can ask someone who knows about such things amongst my
friends...

Thanks for the explanation.

Udo
