Is this 12 pair or 12 wire (6 pair), if it is indeed 12 wire (6 pair), then they are all "next to each other" as the cables are spun internally, so depending on how far it is going, it is unlikely that you will end up with any pair never passing each other.

I also assume that you are using paired wires and not just wires at random. A pair should be obvious (they are the same color codes, such as blue with a white stripe and then white with a blue stripe). If you are not using paired wires, then you should expect all sorts of cross talk problems and that will definitely keep your DSL from working properly.
