Oh, and I should have mentioned, IMAP handles mail tracking on the server side. This makes IMAP much much better for people that need to use multiple clients or interfaces to access the same mail account, because read status, where the mail is filed and all sorts of other helpful things are all handled server side, which means the statuses are reflected across all the clients at the same time.
I've fallen in love with IMAP for one of my work email accounts that I need to check from a desktop computer, laptop, and on the road via webmail. Now once I read, delete, or file an email, it stays that way and all clients show the same thing. Also I store my draft and replies on the server as well, allowing me to reply to an email from anywhere, and have record of it everywhere. Very handy.
Alas, Emailer does not support IMAP. -chris <www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
