b) BUT.. are you all saying that this is not happening for mail sent from the Mac OS X mail program, but from the "Apple Mail" as found on .MAC ? c) My next question was going to be why the SENDER was a XSERVE machine, but I answered that myself under chapter (b) :-) Djee, they use their own stuff. Or they hacked the ROMs on their other vendor machines. d) Important for me to know, is if this happens via the Apple Web mail, because there a webserver and a web browser are involved in picking the attachments. With local OSX mail program, you are directly on the surface of the filesystem, with the native names.
