Best bet is to use Web Mail from your ISP. I know it's a pain, but you
likely can't connect directly to your ISP while travelling so you get the
dreaded Relaying Denied (I'd guess with =all= email apps). I was able to
get to BellSouth Web Mail from Italy and France and read/send email with
no problems (once we got the settings sorted out after connecting the
iBook to an Ethernet outlet freed up by disconnecting one of the Windoz
machines...
