Preamble:
Some months ago I transferred completely to Apple Mail and it now
does virtually everything I need (including colouring message titles
at the press of 3 buttons). However, I still can't edit message
subject lines without dragging them in/out of the "Drafts" folder,
which is a pain. But I still have C.E. installed and use it
occasionally because it does some things easier than Mail.
The point of this:
When I'm away from home I used to have problems sending email because
ISPs don't permit "relaying". I have now overcome this problem by
using MailServe (for Tiger).

It lets you set up your Mac as an SMTP server with one click of the
mouse. You can then send emails via a special account in Apple Mail,
regardless of where you are. If you can get an Internet connection,
it will usually work.
Now, I haven't tried it with Emailer but maybe Chris or someone would
like to do this and report back?

Best Wishes,
Martin
