I simply sent myself an email with curly braces in the subject (I
used the subject "{test message}") and Emailer was able to receive it
just fine.
Do you per chance have an actual example email you could forward me,
with full long headers included? You might be right that the problem
isn't with the subject, but rather with some other header containing
the character. If I can reproduce it, I might be able to find a way
to fix it.
Also, which version of Emailer are you running? Maybe this is an
issue with the International Language versions (or simply with any
version prior to 2.0v3, as I know there were some odds and ends fixed
in v3 which was only released for the US-English version of Emailer).
