Bingo there, and we are at the 50% mark.

With that change, my test mail to my Verizon address came in.
So I will be able to check my Verizon incoming using Emailer,
right along with my current accounts at Macdialup.

However, when I tried changing the default outgoing account
setting to my Verizon account (to send a test email to my Macdialup
account), that test email just didn't go out. There was no error
message, nothing happened.

So I tried following the first lead and changed the SMTP server to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] That evidently was a bad guess. The
test email still didn't go out, and I got the following error message:

** Could not resolve the domain name [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   because UnStuff a folder:.

Then I took a wild stab and changed the SMTP server to
mail.outgoing.verizon.net. My bad, and it got the same "** Could
not resolve . . ." as above.

I doubt that the Verizon tech support guys (and gals) ever get a
call from someone trying to do anything but learn Verizon's own
(clunky) email system. I don't think that they have a clue as to
what I am talking about.

So I'd appreciate another good guess as to what I should put in
the SMTP Server field to enable my emails to go out through my
Verizon account - or at least a good question to ask the Verizon
techs so they can actually tell me what's needed.

Thanks,

Bill
