I suppose that, in my "tutorial," I should have stated the obvious:
That any phrase which is used repeatedly can become its own "mini-app" by the same process as I outlined. Likewise, any operation which is done repeatedly can be a "mini-app" also. Even some rather complex ones can be done by recording. For example, I have certain "startup items" which I want to happen only the FIRST time that I boot up each day. I took care of that one by AppleScript recording, and it works automatically. I still don't know beans about programming AppleScript, but I have at least a dozen of these recorded "mini-apps" on my hard drive doing various and sundry tasks.
