I think you'll find that a shareware program called "Vuescan" will work. It's an OSX program that runs many scanners. I have a Polaroid SCSI film scanner that I bought back in the OS9 days. I have it connected to my G5 Quad using an ATTO host adapter and I use Vuescan as the driver.
