     Am not sure what you mean by top-posting - I don't use Apple's 'Mail'
"Re the footers describing how to unsubscribe" - I don't originate that, 
but I see from your message below that you do include it?  As to 
"including more than necessary" - when I receive and reply to someone's 
message I prefer to
see what they are talking about.  As i deal with something like 200 
Emails a day I have to keep my ducks in a row as it were :)
