Please "be" aware that Claris no longer exists. That, even *if* you
wish to continue to use Emailer, you will not be able to do so while
running an Intel Mac.
That this List was/is about Emailer.
That a short reading of the history of earlier Apple will give clues as
to the difficulty with long-since unsupported software
A simple exercise with Google:
enter "AppleWorks" -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AppleWorks
enter "ClarisWorks to Word" -> several entries showing how to
make the conversion.
Sad to say, those of us who might wish to remain in the backwash of
computer designed programs, are going to have to do some digging
on their own.
(I count myself as "one of those", but have made concessions... in
locating and using available online materials for help, and belonging to a
MUG (Macintosh User Group) with members close by who can answer
my questions on a great variety of arcane Mac-related matters)
