Chris,

I wouldn't be surprised, though a friend who also uses Earthlink (but not
Claris) says he has found they are dropping some of his mail from the web
page - in other words not receiving it. Also the web site is receiving
23 or more spam mails a day (which doesn't
all get through to me on Claris thank goodness).

I am usually quite polite even when they don't understand you because of
language problems, or when you mention your Claris software which they
say they can't help you with, even though its their problem and not
Claris. Its also hard to find any of them who understand the Mac ,and
usuallyI have to ask them to put me through to a Canadian techie, where
there is only one guy skilled in the Mac system. I've actually been
very persevering with them and he appeared to be helping to isolate the
problem, saying in the end that he would forward the problem to their
engineers (is that a clue?), after you convince them its not Claris
(always an uphill battle!). At least they have admitted their Web site
is not acting as it should. Even so it hasn't resolved my problem of
late mail.

Clearly when it comes to Email this is the only sane system out there !
So thank goodness for the list :)
