Because it is coming in very late:  12 to 24 hours late!!  And some of the
Emails require timely responses.  

I'm not holding my breath .... but today, together with this Email from 
you, I have just
been able to download into Claris all of the Web mail sitting on the 
server - and
its timely... l'm keeping my fingers crossed that it continues that way - 
so the problem may have been solved.

Interesting thing though, the Earthlink technie called me yesterdayand we 
discussed  some empty folders in my Inbox on the web site which he said 
should not be there - so we deleted them.  Yesterday the download was 
still causing a problem, but today the download is working as it should.  
I don't know if the folders were the cause of the problem, but maybe 
their deletetion triggered something else?

Ah me - these things are sent to try us,
