Hello all,
I am using EMANE (v 1.0.1) with CORE networks emulator. In my topology I have
two WiFi nodes connected to wlan network. All nodes are configured to use EMANE
"ieee80211abg" mode.
For my test, I run a simple iperf session to evaluate max attainable speed. My
results seem to indicate, that there is almost no difference, once the "unicast
rate" is set above 11 Mbps. My one-way unicast transmission results are:
802.11b/g:
Unicast-rate Observed Transmission speed
1: 1Mbps 1.46Mbit/s
2: 2Mbps 2.31Mbit/s
4: 11Mbps 6.63Mbit/s
9: 24Mbps 9.78Mbit/s
10: 36Mbps 10.8Mbit/s
12: 54Mbps 11.5 Mbit/s
Am I missing some setting somewhere, so I can reach higher speeds?
