Justas, those numbers are what you would expect when running in mixed mode (i.e b/g) based on the protocol overhead. If you set the mode to a/g, which only supports the OFDM rates, you should see higher throughput. With the mode=a/g, the max throughput you should see for unicast at 54Mbps will be slightly over 20Mbps.
