It is in dmesg after emc shuts down. EMC shuts down with the following messages: insmod: error inserting '/home/emcadmin/emc2/rtlib/hm2_7i43.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module. hostmot2.hal:17: exit value: 1 hostmot2.hal:17: insmod failed, returned -1 Hmm, maybe I did not look back far enough in Dmesg. A little further up is the message: hm2/hm2_7i43.0: firmware hm2/7i43/SVST4_6B.BIT not found. Building from source, that file is located in emc2/src/hal/drivers/mesa-hostmot2/firmware/7i43. I ran ". script/emcenvironment" before running emc. The configuration folder was copied from a working configuration.
