Here's a snippet of code from the hal file :

# set PID loop output limits to +/-1.00
setp pid.0.maxoutput [AXIS_0]PID_MAX_VEL
setp pid.1.maxoutput [AXIS_1]PID_MAX_VEL
setp pid.2.maxoutput [AXIS_2]PID_MAX_VEL

The .ini file lines all look like :
PID_MAX_VEL =              1.2


All these lines are interpreted correctly by HAL, and import the parameters 
from the
.ini file, but the place for PID_MAX_VEL does not appear on the FIRST axis of 
the
calibration menu.  It DOES appear on the tabs for the 2nd and 3rd axis.  This 
quirk has
been around for some time, I believe.
