No, apparently not.  These seems to just be two pairs, REQ and SD.  REQ 
is the request, which makes all encoders sample position at the same 
time.  SD is serial data.

Well, they apparently have a checksum and commutation info.  Maybe they 
also have velocity.

Yeah, you bet, Fanuc makes their own, they have an entire factory just 
for encoders.
