Hi all, i would like to bring your attention on this problem (a bug? or a missing feature?) when into world mode, either with trivial or non-trivial kinematics you cannot jog two analog axis at a time with a joystick, or a joypad. I had this problem one year ago, than i'm trying again in these days wishing something happened with the new releases, but that issue wasn't solved. i re-opened the old discussion on the forum, so i could post some screenshot. You can see that here: http://www.linuxcnc.org/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,20/func,view/id,4542/catid,24/limit,6/limitstart,18/lang,italian/#15004
for those who don't know, on a trivial kinematics it seems you can jog your axis simultaneously with a joystick because you cannot enter World mode, but if you exchange inside trivialkins.c to 'KINEMATICS_BOTH', as Andy Pugh suggested, you can find out that also with trivial kinematics the problem is the same. I would appreciate if anyone can try on their system and report if the problem is common or not. just for completeness, i've tried this with: emc 2.4.3 2.4.5 2.4.6 2.4.7 2.5 2.6 and using: hal_input hidcomp joyhandle methods for plugging the joystick. thanks, Davide. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more.
