I am very new to the EMC and contact with Chris Morley would be appreciated.
I feeling my way around the software and how to make it work with real hardware. I need to move from 3 axis machining to 5 axis machining in foam and clay. I already have brushless servos and amplifiers that require pwm input using the motor encoders for velociyy feedback. I need to use the axis encoders (linear for XYZ,angular for A,B) for position feedback so I need to be using an external card. The Mesa 5i20 seems to be a good start and it would seem that pncconf would be an easier way to setup real encoders and motors to see them working with EMC even as individual axis. Where can you download pncconf as it is does not seem to be part of the Live CD ? Maybe I am trying to 'run before I can walk' but even to see 3 real axis would be a start. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Tim James Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Write once.
