Like the other respondents, I wonder just what it is you want to accomplish. It's hard to point to a solution without knowing what the problem is. Issues that cross my mind include: do the points lie in a plane? do you mean a circular arc or something more general, like a not necessarily straight line which has certain properties of "smoothness"? must the arc pass through the end points? do you have some measure of goodness of fit in mind?
