I did try something on my desktop system: open two terminal windows. In window #1 start glxgears, then move window #2 in a circular motion with the mouse. 13560 frames in 5.0 seconds 13080 frames in 5.0 seconds 16703 frames in 5.0 seconds 16848 frames in 5.0 seconds 16849 frames in 5.0 seconds 8290 frames in 5.0 seconds 2560 frames in 5.0 seconds 3889 frames in 5.0 seconds 3316 frames in 5.0 seconds 11127 frames in 5.0 seconds 16850 frames in 5.0 seconds 16813 frames in 5.0 seconds It is rather obvious when I was moving the window rapidly. ;-( So the next question is: what happens if the gui is in a client <-> server mode?
