Your patch is different than what I had in mind. I was not suggesting making the interpreter automatically update the active TLO on M6 when G43 is active. I was suggesting making the GUI issue a new G43 when the user does a tool-table touch-off via the GUI (ie when the GUI runs G10 L1/L10/L11 because of an explicit user action). Subtle difference, perhaps.
