As a first step, what should I license my files as?
I have tended to be rather lazy, and have used "GPL" by default.
If there is an alternative phrase that can be used to minimise future
problems, up to and including "Completely Public Domain, Do as you
please" then let me know and I will just change them.

I don't know what proportion of LinuxCNC currently has my name at the
top, I have a feeling it is more than I think.
