I've written up an initial requirements document for the future LinuxCNC middleware which is to replace NML/RCS.
Comments are welcome on: http://static.mah.priv.at/public/wip/html/wip/requirements.html#_configuration_requirements I wrote this up since I am engaged in an offlist discussion on reuse of an existing middleware project, so I decided to spell out what I think is needed. This document might eventually be firmed up by using RFC2119 language (MUST/MAY etc), and enhanced by a section showing how the zeroMQ/protobuf vehicle can be used to address these requirements. - Michael ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ November Webinars for C, C++, Fortran Developers Accelerate application performance with scalable programming models.
