Is this a motion limit, or a calculation limit?

Is this a system that has fewer motors than joints, or is the
limitation in the maths?

The kins file see millisecond-by-millisecond waypoints. So would it be
possible to calculate XYZ, then calculate A using the new XYZ etc etc?
