I can only see good as people work together to advance both projects.
I haven't been following these developments as close as other people.
It took me a year of early morning (sometimes I started at 2am to have
uninterrupted time) typing and thinking (the most difficult endeavour) to
come up with my algorithm to compensate the geometry on the cinci 5 axis.
Was it worth it - you bet. Will I share it? You-bet. Has anyone wanted it?
Not that I know of. The only critique from any of the developers was 'OMG
what an inscrutable mess'.
Heh - and I could not get any 'developers' interested in doing this for me.
It was fun. I learned a lot. It is working for me every day.

At least 5 years ago I expressed the desire for an EMC (Everything
Machine/Process Controller). HEY - patience pays off. I will use both
projects as much as possible.

just sayin
Stuart
