A side note, to demonstrate I am getting dumb in my dotage, I spent a
couple hours yesterday, hanging onto a 60 lb electric demolition
hammer/drill. And I am, in the middle of the night, feeling the pain.
Last attempt to sink the chisel got it stuck, so if I can wrestle it off
the tool tomorrow, I'll mount the bullnosed one and see if I can break
the chisel loose again.

I have a neighbor with some 20yo-ish boys who could do this at xx bucks
an hour, and I left a message there yesterday that the demo hammer was
here, but they didn't come and pester me for the job, busy draining some
other swamp I guess as theres a recent issue jeep in the drive being
retrofitted with an 8" or so lift kit & some serious mud bogging tires
sitting in the drive with the boys working on it in yesterdays cold
drizzle.

So I'm pecking away at it. I got about 15-20% of the way around a 22"
circle before I got the chisel stuck, gonna sink a 20+ gallon plastic
sump pump pit to see if I can lower the water table under the basement &
keep it a little drier in the spring monsoons. Somebody besides the
missus needs to keep heckling me to remind me I'm 80 yo and seriously in
need of some more cortisone shots in my arthritic back. :(

If, when I was 20, I would have known I'd live to be 80, I would have
taken lots better care of me. ;-) Hindsight, always 20-5 in both eyes.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
