We started making videos for our customers, but we use 10.04 because it is far easier for the newbie customers we have. I only mention that because the screen recorder for 10.04 drops all duplicate frames (which is most of them on a screen recording situation). So we have a couple of videos, but without follow along on the screen.
We went so far as to buy a standalone VGA screen recorder, but it doesn't play well with odd resolutions and we are using 1366 x 768. :-( >Len On 1/6/2016 8:22 PM, Chris Morley wrote: > I was thinking the other day about video tutorials and > how it's a pain to find good/useful ones on youtube, > particularly if you were new at this linuxcnc thing. > > I was wondering what was thought of having videos > in our repo and have them show in the linuxcnc launcher. > A few short videos of how to do some basic stuff may be > very helpful to avoid some support questions. > > Not sure who would be interested in making the videos but > that might be a project for a non-programmer to participate. > > Thoughts? > Chris M > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > _______________________________________________ > Emc-developers mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
