Greetings all; In the Ducumentation.pdf, there is a remark in the g33 command description about needing to hookup both the spindle-at-speed and the encoder.n.Z (index) to something. I seem to have lost one or the other in this little puff of smoke from the ptc on a 5i25.
By slowing things down to a belly crawl, I have found the joint following error is exerted at the instant of reversal at the bottom of the stroke for a g33.1, or a plain old g33. At-speed is true as the near is set quite broadly. I can see the encoders index on my gigahertz digital scope as it comes out of the encoder, and I can see it on the halscope. But while the docs give a link to the Integrator's manual for further discussion, that further discussion isn't findable in that Integrator's manual today. Didn't we go around about that a year or more back? So, where can I find this "list" of connect "this" to "that" for all these spindle synchronized motions? IMO, its best added to the g33 and g76 gcode descriptions. Thanks & Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
