I know this still includes halscope and halmeter. it would be a real pity to lose halscope to CADTs^Wthe progress of the Linux desktop.


A PITY? Try catastrophe! I suspect halmeter could be recoded to use a newer library fairly easily, HalScope is a pretty complicated GUI, with at least a few custom widgets, I think. That could be a lot harder to port to a new environment. And, HalScope is CRITICAL to servo installations. (Darn useful for any debugging of the real time side of Hal, too.)
