We don't really have a test plan. I think the process looks something
like this:
* Prepare a pre-release as per the ReleaseCheckList on the wiki
(http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ReleaseCheckList)
* The buildbot builds debs of the pre-release, on all our supported
platforms.
* The LinuxCNC deb archive admin (that's me) adds the debs to the deb
archive.
* "People" make sure they can "apt-get install" the new debs, and
manually test any functionality they feel motivated to test.
