No newer is available. So now what?
My previous email has a list of alternatives.
I have built several .debs, and uploaded them to linuxcnc. But I am
having problems.
"debuild" only works once. I have not figured out why. I have just
been starting from scratch every time:
dh_install: Cannot find (any matches for)
"usr/share/gtk-doc/html/gladeui-2/*" (tried in ., debian/tmp)
dh_install: libgladeui-doc missing files: usr/share/gtk-doc/html/gladeui-2/*
dh_install: missing files, aborting
make: *** [debian/rules:11: binary] Error 25
If I make a version with the patch then it appears to work as an
installer, but when put on the LinuxCNC repository it looks identical
to the official version, and it isn't clear which one gets installed.
And, so far, if I change the package name, I get an undersized .deb
which appears to install without error, but then I can't see any
executable to run, nor any menu item.
So, there is a package called "glade" on the linuxcnc repository now
which _should_ have been built against Python3, though I am not
completely convinced.
you are missing the libgladeui, which is the actual one which links to
pyhton.
it decides which one to install based on the version number, the
cnagnelog file increments the version number.
