I have no problem with contributing a couple hundred euros a year towards a paid solution but there would need to be a way to setup access ownership/rights in a way that avoids the control issues we have with some of our other infrastructure (eg the wiki).
Agreed. There have been very early talks that there needs to be a non-profit to handle that. Nothing has been decided and nothing has been done in that direction yet. However, there is an awareness that we probably need it.
(FWIW, I can donate some spare VMs for CI if that is appropriate/necessary. Should also be easily movable between machines, those VMs)
