Calling all Official Journal readers... I have an antenna positioner conrtol which is basically a rack mounted ITE looking, 220 Vac powered, SCR controlled for 3/4 hp motor loads. I am trying to decide the correct LV and EMC Directives to apply. I do not believe the Machinery Directive applies to the control unit, only the load antenna.
EN 61131, EN 61010 or EN60950 are the only ideas I had for LVD. EN55022, EN50081-2, EN5082-2, unless using EN61131, which outlines some EMC requirements. Thanks in advance for your opinions.
