The proposed ITE immunity standard prEN55105 (renumbered from prEN55024) failed its recent vote a new version based on a CISPR/G draft was going to be drawn up last month for voting some time this month. Past history would suggest that it is unlikely to be listed in the OJ before the end of the year and there will then be a transition period before it is mandatory, possibly of 4 years. In the mean time the generic standards apply to ITE. Nick Rouse
